Tire Bro's LLC is an official state inspection location for Missouri safety and emissions inspections. Unless exempt, your vehicle must pass a safety inspection once every two years. Residents living in certain areas, including St. Charles County, must also pass a smog or emissions test in addition to the safety inspection.
Your renewal notice from the Department of Revenue will assist you in determining if your vehicle needs a safety inspection.
When it's time for your MO state inspection, visit Tire Bro's LLC. We serve drivers across Seymour, MO , Rogersville, MO, Mountain Grove, MO, and surrounding areas.
If you have a vehicle registered to operate in any of the areas below, you will need an emissions test (also known as a smog check) in addition to your safety inspection:
If you don't get an inspection by your due date, your vehicle registration will be denied. For this reason, we recommended prioritizing your state inspection once you receive notice that it's time.
For vehicles registered in St. Charles County, an MO state inspection is a two-part process that consists of the safety inspection and emissions inspection. The safety inspection includes checking your headlights, turn signals, horn, brake system, steering mechanism, all window glass, windshield wipers, and other parts crucial to vehicle safety.
During the emissions inspection, special equipment is used to read your On-Board Diagnostic System (OBD). If you're within legal emission levels, your vehicle passes the test.
